Scott Kloefkorn

Scott Kloefkorn has been an educator in the Tucson area for nearly two decades. After a lifetime of competitive and recreational athletic involvement he decided to commit to teaching the sports he enjoys - as he continues to be an active participant in many sporting activities. Mr. Kloefkorn began his volleyball coaching career in 2008 as a co-head coach with the National Youth Sports (NYS) organization. After two successful seasons coaching the 12-14 year-old girls he moved to the next level with the girl’s teams at Dodge Middle School as an assistant coach,  where he groomed the 12 and 13 year old athletes for future success within the middle and high school levels. Many of these athletes are currently competing at the junior varsity and varsity programs at many Tucson-based high schools. Coach Kloefkorn then seized an opportunity to coach the girl’s Freshman team at Cholla High School, where he has also been teaching for the past 8 years. Under the tutelage of 30-year head coach Kellin Lovegren, Coach Kloefkorn has further honed his skills as a coach in the past two TUSD summer leagues as well as in the 2010 and 2011 freshman high school seasons. During this time he has also served as an assistant coach at the JV and Varsity levels. During the 2010/2011 season, he joined the coaching staff of Tucson Juniors Volleyball Club. Here he enjoyed teaching the game at both the 13/14 and 15/16 age levels. He also assisted with the 14’s travel team who attended last summer’s Volleyball Festival in Phoenix AZ.

Stefanie Frost

Stefanie “Frosty” Frost began her coaching career as an Assistant JV Coach at Tucson High Magnet School under Head Coach Derrick Champaco during the 2010 season. She joined the coaching staff at Tucson Juniors as an Assistant Coach for the 15-1 team this past season. Stefanie played volleyball for Club Cactus for 6 years, two of those under Derrick Champaco as her head coach, then played one year for VB Club Dinamo. After her senior high school season, she transitioned to being a volleyball official for both AIA and USA Volleyball, and just recently got her first taste of officiating in the NCAA.
